Burke Alford was born in Dallas, Texas, and grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana. He attended First Baptist Church School and Loyola College Prep before earning a golf scholarship to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Burke graduated summa cum laude from the B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration in 2025 with a degree in Finance.
During his collegiate career, Burke was a two-time Golf Coaches Association of America All-American Scholar and a member of the 2023 Sun Belt Championship–winning team — UL’s first since 2007. Among his individual golf achievements, he captured the 2024 Magnolia Amateur Championship title.
Burke joined the family business in the fall of 2025, driven by a long-standing interest in wealth management and financial advising. His fascination with the stock market began in high school, where he closely followed his father’s work in the industry.
Outside of work, Burke enjoys golfing and spending time with family and friends.
